At De Haan Group in Waalwijk, BIPV Projects has completed two impressive solar facades with a total surface area of 1,155 m². These innovative facades not only generate sustainable energy but also add an aesthetic element to the building. The project was delivered turnkey, including a SCIOS Scope 12 safety inspection.

Innovative Click&Go Mounting System
The solar facades are mounted using the revolutionary Click&Go system, developed by TULiPPS. This system enables an invisible and secure attachment of solar panels onto existing sandwich panels, even when these were not originally designed to carry the additional weight. Thanks to this technique, the structural integrity of the facade remains intact, while the solar panels perform optimally.
Efficiency and Aesthetics Combined
The solar facades at De Haan Group mark a milestone for the facade industry. By utilizing both east- and west-facing facades, energy generation is distributed more evenly throughout the day, resulting in greater self-sufficiency. This project proves that solar facades are a smart choice for both new builds and renovations. Within a reasonable period, the investment pays for itself—and the facade even generates profit.
Designed with BIPV.world
The design of the solar façades was carried out by Sweco Architects, using the digital platform BIPV.world. This platform provides architects and construction professionals with the tools to design solar facades quickly and accurately, including real-time insights into costs and yields.
