The setup on this facade was built as a demonstration from the EXTASE Project in collaboration with TKI Urban Energy. The EXTASE Project aims to prepare BIPV for large-scale application in the Netherlands by combining high-quality Dutch technology with real-world demonstration projects and by creating sufficient mass production to further reduce the cost of BIPV systems.

In this demonstration project, a number of functionalities have been brought together and major steps have been taken in terms of ease of assembly and assembly speed. Active and passive panels and passive panels have been used in the edge finishes.
