TULiPPS mounting systems on BIPV.world now equipped with category 1 environmental declarations

The TULiPPS mounting systems, previously available via the BIPV.world platform, have now been included in the National Environmental Database (NMD) with a category 1 environmental declaration and a lifespan of 60 years. This means that both systems have been officially validated for use in sustainability calculations such as MPG and BENG.
This concerns:
- The TULiPPS mounting system for standard PV panels of 1.72 x 1.13 meters
NMD declaration: NMD_202178 - The scalable TULiPPS mounting system for custom PV panels
NMD declaration: NMD_202177
Reliable data for sustainable construction
With this inclusion in the NMD, the environmental properties of both systems are transparent and widely applicable in calculation models. This makes it easier for architects, developers and contractors to include solar facades in sustainable construction plans, with substantiated environmental performance.
Available via BIPV.world
The two systems have been available for some time on the BIPV.world platform, where professionals can find solutions for aesthetically integrated solar facades in one environment. With the official inclusion in the NMD, these products are now also suitable for projects with high sustainability requirements and subsidies where category 1 data is required.
About BIPV.world
BIPV.world is the digital platform for the most cost-efficient solar facades. From orientation to specification, design and implementation: the platform brings together supply and demand and accelerates the application of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in the built environment.
OPZuid program
Part of the development is partly made possible by a subsidy from the OPZuid program. The project “Circular Multicolour Facade PV Factory” is co-financed by the European Union, the Dutch government and the province of Noord-Brabant. OPZuid supports innovative solutions that contribute to social and economic transitions, such as the energy transition and sustainable construction. The entire project has been recognized by the European Union as one of the strategic initiatives.
