With this latest update - now available for download via your account on www.bipv.world - we’ve introduced several improvements designed to make your workflow smoother, more reliable, and even more powerful. The new BIPV.world Revit plugin is now available for Revit up to 2024. An update for Revit 2025 will follow soon.

 

REAL-TIME DATA

The BIPV.world Revit plugin no longer relies on an FTP-server, resolving compatibility issues for organizations that restrict FTP usage. Instead, it now connects seamlessly to the BIPV.world database. This ensures you always have access to accurate, up-to-date design-information, streamlining your workflow and minimizing errors in the design process.


IMPROVED SOLAR PANEL HANDLING

  • Undo layouts and reposition panels, giving you greater flexibility to experiment with different designs.
  • Fully supported landscape (horizontal) panels expand your design possibilities, allowing for more versatile and creative configurations.
  • Passive edge panels are now placed with accurate offsets and top/bottom single brackets are correctly applied, so your panel surfaces are always aligned.


IMPROVED GRID DISTRIBUTION

  • Our updated grid distribution feature ensures that no rows or columns are missing when moving the grid, so your layout always remains fully visible.
  • Improved stability prevents crashes during revisions, making layout adjustments smoother and more efficient.


ACCURATE POWER CALCULATIONS AND QUOTATIONS

  • Asset values are now calculated more correctly, giving you accurate cost indications.
  • The cost estimate no longer skips important parts, so you can present comprehensive cost indications with confidence.
